On March 29th Women in Business held their annual
Etiquette Dinner at the Indiana Memorial Union. A representative from Kohl’s Department Stores kicked off the event with a presentation of the company as well as professional
tips for the women to follow in pursuit of their future careers. A KPMG
representative facilitated the Etiquette Dinner and taught the women the proper
techniques to use during each course of the meal. The women enjoyed the fine
dining while learning the proper etiquette and table manners for the
five-course meal. Women in Business members were educated in the appropriate
silverware usage as well as napkin placement and correct passing of table
dishes. The Women in Business members are now well equipped with dinner
etiquette skills that will allow them to impress recruiters and employers and
help them avoid possible embarrassing moments. A special thanks goes out to all
of the Women in Business sponsors that contributed to making this dinner
possible.
